This book was inspired by the song ‘Jailbreak’ by Thin Lizzy.

Within the pages of this book, the stories of real life Jailbreaks are told through imagery and recovered newspaper articles. The book is a square shape of 205x205mm, bound in a concrete effect paper to reflect a jail cell.

The inside pages have been printed on a bright orange paper,
symbolising the characteristic orange prison jumpsuits and providing a contrast between the cold bland grey of a jail cell and the optimism of freedom.

The front cover includes a rectangular cut-out through to the title page. This offers a glimpse into the bright orange inside of the book and represents looking out the small window of jail cell to freedom.
